Vaccination Schedule for school aged children

Vaccination Schedule for school aged children

As your children reach their teens there are further infections and conditions that vaccinations can help prevent. The HPV vaccine helps prevent the spread of this virus and having the vaccine at a young age allows the body to build it’s defences before any risk occurs.

Whilst most types of HPV are harmless, some some types are linked to an increased risk of certain types of cancer, so having this vaccine at a young age significantly reduces the risk of certain cancers.

The teenage booster vaccine will top up children’s immunisation and help protect them whilst in further education and beyond.
