Having someone else manage your budget
You can make arrangements for someone else to manage your personal budget on your behalf, which can be a friend, family member or a professional such as a solicitor or service provider. This arrangement is termed a user-controlled trust.
Advice and support
The Council will always advise you using your personal budget, but alongside this there is a range of brokerage services run by voluntary organisations.
