Early Autumn
The weather was a bit overcast to start with so we concentrated on clearing further areas ready for planting.
The tools got a good sharpening with the sharpening stone which makes life easier with invigorated forks and spades.!
The compost heap got a good turning over and is coming along nicely.
The runner beans were picked along with the French beans and berries .
Cauliflower seeds were put into planters ready for winter crops.
Buxus plants were given a nice little bit of fine weeding.
All the established fruit trees and plants were given a top feed and got a good watering.
The allotment is now taking on a nice lay out plan and design for the next season and beyond. We got a new friend!!!
