The Buckinghamshire Family Information Service

Buckinghamshire Family Information Service logo

The Buckinghamshire Family Information Service (BFIS) is here to provide information and advice on family matters and support services, childcare and things to do locally. We support parents, parents to be and children and young people from birth to 19, and up to 25 if they have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). Using our website, you’ll find advice from our knowledgeable team and practitioners in the council. We’ll also link you to organisations that can provide the help most suited to you and your child's needs –this is called signposting.

Our website and directory of organisations, activities and childcare is always available allowing you to find:

  • support available to help with issues affecting your family
  • what’s on at family centres
  • things to do and holiday activities
  • support and inclusive activities if your child has SEND
  • childcare and early year

The service is accessible by phone 01296 383293, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn -@bucksfamilyinfo), email familyinfo@buckinghamshire.gov.uk and website
