What is community transport?

Community transport services make use of accessible vehicles to meet local transport needs not catered for by conventional public transport. They mainly operate on a not-for-profit basis and are often run by community-based organisations and volunteers.

Community Transport Hub

Funded jointly by Buckinghamshire County Council and the Buckinghamshire NHS Trust, the transport hub provides information, advice and guidance on community transport providers in Bucks. If you call the hub they will look to provide information on all aspects of community transport, from Dial-a-Ride to community car schemes, mini bus hire to wheelchair accessible taxis.

Please note they cannot make or take any bookings but through their community transport database they can provide advice on the best method of transport for your need.

Call the Transport Hub 0800 085 8480 or mobile friendly 01844 348834 (10am–4pm)
