Unfortunately, vulnerable people are high on the list of preferred targets for the fraudsters who operate scams.

A good defence is to be able to recognise the signs of a scam, and to be aware of the kinds of scam that are around so that you can both avoid them yourself and advise friends and loved ones of the dangers.

These pages will give you information on scams, together with links and contact numbers you can use to report a scam or get help checking whether something is suspicious.
